Versori's Manifesto

Versori's manifesto, encompassing reasons for pivoting to an AI-native platform, and why those who don't adapt will be left in the integration dust.

The old world of enterprise integration wasn’t just broken, it was fundamentally flawed. Businesses were shackled to rigid, bloated systems that cost millions and delivered little more than frustration. Integration projects dragged on for years, draining time, money, and momentum. Flexibility? Non-existent. Innovation? Impossible. It was a world built for vendors, not users. But when the limitations of legacy iPaaS collided with the rise of AI, a new era was born: faster, smarter, and unapologetically better.

That’s where Versori steps in. Not as a patch or workaround, but as a full-system reset. Because if the old way was defined by complexity, the future will be defined by intelligence.

What does the old world look like - the one where Versori doesn't exist?

There was once a time where rigid, out of the box integration solutions were the single and only option to build connected systems and automated data flows. Enterprise integration projects would take months, sometimes years, to deploy, leaving money, time and ROI in the dust.

The problems:

  • Rigid APIs
  • Lack of customisation
  • Slow project timelines
  • Millions in implementation fees

All for a fixed integration that couldn’t be left unattended for even a couple of hours, out of fear that something might break and disrupt entire business processes.

According to one of our largest, global customers, an integration project had been going on for 2 years, with no solution, before they met Versori.

IPaaS simply could not keep up with demands, and frankly, businesses deserved more.

Then, along came the AI revolution, some welcomed it, many feared it, some passed it off as a fad. Whispers that, “AI is going to take our jobs,” and “robots are going to take over,” circulated like wild fire. Shockingly, some people are STILL in disbelief that AI will ever even be “a thing.” They’re the ones that will in fact, get left behind.

AI isn’t here to take our jobs as such, it’s here to improve our productivity, and when used correctly, can be transformational for entire enterprises, and catapult them to new heights and revenue streams. Doesn’t sound so bad after all right?

At the start of 2025, Versori made the executive decision to move away from retro-fitted AI functionality, to a complete rebuild of the platform, with AI at the core. It was a bold move, some may say a calculated risk, and ultimately it's one that is paving the way for a new meaning of iPaaS.

What’s a commonly held belief in the industry that Versori disagree with?

The notion that integrations are simply just difficult, and that’s “never gonna change!”

This is inherently incorrect.

Complexity is not destiny.

And, yes progress is possible.

What are the big questions we’ve been asking ourselves whilst building Versori?

  1. “Why did we get into the integration space?” It's archaic to its core. Enterprises are tied in with legacy iPaaS giants who are giving the industry a bad rap. They stick with them because it's easier than switching to something new, and possibly, they’re fearful of knowing how much time and money may have been saved had they switched sooner. So, we ask ourselves this, not as a sarcastic rhetoric, but as a reminder as to why we’re building and shipping so quickly; it's our key driving factor across the company
  1. "What features actually matter to enterprise clients?" It’s easy to get caught up in the nitty gritty details of every feature, big or small. But, ultimately, what we think is absolutely key might not even be slightly important to our enterprise clients. Building with the customer at the core is central to Versori’s success. Customers = evangelists.
  1. “How can we remain on the front foot?” This might sound obvious, but AI is advancing faster than anyone likes to admit deep down, and we are constantly heads down, ear to the ground, deploying updates across the board, from agents, to MCP, to RAG, and everything in between.

What does the future look like 10 years from now?

One thing is categorically certain, the way we scope, build and deploy integrations will be entirely new. Integration is the number 1 buying challenge in tech right now. Next year, it will be the number 1 buying criteria.

Note, from buying challenge > buying criteria in 12 months. That's the speed at which platforms like Versori are re-writing years of integration history.

How are the ones who ignore it falling behind?

Adapt or die. It’s that simple. Much like our prehistoric predecessors, who once ruled the lands. They couldn’t survive the new era. Need we say more?

What’s the promised land?

If someone completely surrenders to AI-native integration platforms, and trusts in the ability of the technology, they are set for exponential growth across the board.

Their internal development resources are free to actually focus on building the product. The 100’s of 10000’s of $$ they have tied up in ridiculously long implementation projects? Puff, vanished. Their speed to value for clients and prospects makes closing deals as easy as saying “yes”.

Enterprises that utilise industry-changing platforms and tools will make it through to the next wave of AI evolution.

The ones who are just about hanging on by a thread already? Much like our dinosaur friends, they will be extinct.

Sounds harsh, but it's the real world. The AI wave isn’t coming, we’re already surfing it.

Final remarks: you can’t, and will never be able to, bolt AI to a dinosaur.
